Greed is Good

'Greed is good'...Too much greed, like anything in excess, is not good. But to get you where u want to go, you'll probably need a little. 'Guilt is worse than greed. For guilt robs the body of its soul'...'Do what u feel in ur heart to be right - for you'll be critisized anyway. You'll be damned if you do, and damned if you don't.'

The BIG Decision

I've decided I'm going to be RICH.  That's right, RICH RICH RICH! In life, in all aspects of it. RICH.  I have decided and so it shall be!!

'THE GOOD LIFE'

FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE

Money isn't everything, but it is definately something.

Ok, so the latest book is by, Robert T. Kiyosaki.

'Rich Dad POOR DAD'

'What the rich teach their kids - That you can learn too'!

I admit it, I am a complete self-help junkie!  Improvement is the way forward! And I want to learn.  I haven't actually got kids yet but I'll figure that one out at a later date, instead I shall pass my learned information to anyone who will listen!

The book is about Making money work for me. For you.  We've just got to find different ways of making it.  Think.  It's an easy read, not too technical and gives you a basis of understanding money.  Becoming Financially Intelligent is now on the list of things to do!

The lack of financial education in our society has led to great debt, (wars), and mental illness - STRESS.  There really does need to be more focus in schools about this.  They should call the subject 'FE'!

We are the world, and we are in total denial.  Because WE are in debt! (Well I definitely am!)

Blame or Shame?

I would like to place blame on schools, the education system and the government.  But the honest truth is that I have never been financially intelligent and I never cared to learn.  Instead of saving, I spent.  instead of investing in shares, stocks and bonds, I invested in clothes.  Instead of staying in, I went out.  I was always 'dipping in' to my savings until little by little, drip after drab, it was all gone!

ASSETS & LIABILITIES

If only I knew then what I know now.  My Assets should always be greater than my liabilities.  Don't spend my money until it is actually disposable and not a manageable expense.  When you have money, invest it so that it makes money for you.

The Middle & Working class buy.  The Rich invest.

Earn & Learn...

...But then, make it work for you.

Be Rich
